FSM’s library hosts more than 4000 books on photography and is continuously updated with new acquisitions.
It is a very important tool for our students who are constantly encouraged to use this precious resource.
The digital lab is equipped with Apple iMac provided with post-production software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, essential tools to express the creativity of our students.
Also photographic scanners are available for digitizing negatives and a digital print shop run by professional printers.
We strongly believe in the educational value of chemical printing in black and white. For this reason, in contrast with the other schools, FSM maintains his darkroom laboratories in operation.
Our darkroom is equipped with enlargers, to print the negatives from small to large format.
The FSM gallery is a space very popular with photography enthusiasts, dedicated to the promotion of photographic art and to FSM’s talent.
With its rich programming the exhibition hall hosts every year exhibitions by internationally renowned authors, the space also hosts projects and works from our students and gives the opportunity to expose our employees and former students.
